XLlims Services

The Xlims system can provide many different services to any company that uses it.

Scheduler :- this allows an overall schedule to be created in an Excel workbook and
then uses this to generate individual files for each sampling occasion.
Typically this is currently used to give work lists, either in the form of
labels or run-sheets, to the production line to generate the necessary
quality control samples.

Database:- holds samples, results and work information. The information is held in
an easily viewed format with the facilities to sort and filter the data as
required. The database can be used, in combination with the scheduler,
to control the information and work flow for all the samples. Alternatively
it can be used just to receive the results and provide the appropriate
reports.

Reporting functions:- it has a series of standard reports that allow the information in
the main database to be reported in effective formats.
Examples of these are shown in the demonstration CD,
including performance reports, technical summary and
graphical reports. New templates to produce specific reports
are easy to set up to customise your system. All reports are
produced in standard Excel format and can be sent via email
automatically if required.
